COVID-19 Safety Protocol and Return-to-Play Guidelines
As we bring players back on the field, we will monitor the Santa Clara County, CDC, and state guidelines and follow the strictest recommendations offered.
The following are the safety precautions we have put in place to ensure everyone's safety:
• We will restrict the number of participants per field
• Social distancing will be enforced at all times
• Parents will complete a wellness checklist at home before arriving at the field
• Coaching equipment will be disinfected after each session
• Everyone will wear a mask
• No spectators will be allowed. (Exception for 6U parents: one parent per child will be allowed to observe the session, as they will be in smaller groups.)
In order for us to ensure the safety guidelines are being followed, we request your help with the following:
• Participants may participate in only one program at a time and may not move from one program to another more than once every 3 weeks.
• Each player must bring their own equipment. This will consist of shin guards, a soccer ball, and a face mask. These 3 items are mandatory to participate. We also suggest a water bottle for hydration as we will not permit sharing of drinks.
• No spectators will be allowed, as this will exceed the number of people allowed on the field, as per city guidelines. For 6-U, only one parent per child will be allowed to observe the session.
• Masks must be worn before and after the session. Most of the soccer activities will allow for masks to be removed, however, all children must wear masks before and after the session
• Screen your children and your family. If you find your child or any member of your household with symptoms of COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, please stay home and self quarantine, and notify the coach.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
